It depends on the market you are going after. I have some cards with graphics for FSBO's, and others for different situations. They also have different wording as to the market I am going after.

    Man,

I can't wait to talk about this in my book

They are right, you have to really figure out who you are trying to attract before you think about doing anything. There are thousands of people saying the same things out there, especially in this market, so how are you going to attract your people?

Put on your business card, something that will attract the people you are looking and then some background info and contact info. If you can use two sides, even better, put things on the back, referral fees, etc to entice people into reading. You want to think of a business card as you would think about optimizing a site for search engines (okay, I just showed I'm a nerd <IMG

Anyway, you put title, couple keywords that attract the group you are reaching (and here you can go broad or specific, up to you) and then a short concise description.

Think about this and then see what you can come up with.

I use a bright orange, 4 sided card with WE BUY HOUSES CASH
Any Area Any Price Any Condition
    Telephone:xxx xxx xxxx
    Toll Free: xxx xxx xxxx
and you might try putting on back
"Sell your home in 9 days or less"

    Hope this helps a little

    Moderator is this okay?
I found a site that will let you design online and give you 250 full color cards "free". $5.25 shipping. They also have postcards. They have a nice product.

Moderators: I have no financial interest in this. It just seems like they have a good price on product.

I have two kinds. One is the bright orange folding card and another one is a "proffesional" card with my logo. If I'm networking or I'm working with clients that's more upscale, I give them my "proffesional business card. If my target prospects are in the median range, the bright orange works very well.

    Hope this helps,

Hey I got my cards from Hot Cards in Columbus and they are awsome hope they can give you a good deal.

fyi, You have to pay extra if you do not want their logo on the back, which is automatic when they're free. Good company, I've used them for cards that don't have to be very professional.

Attention Newbies: IMAGE is everything when it comes to business. So keep in mind that your business card must represent YOU and your future business. They forget the face and LOOK at the card. Why is fast food delivered in colorful/appealing wrappers and bags? This is to ADVERTISE their product in your hands. (Get our drift?) So take a second thought and CREATE a valuable [Marketing] business card.

Make your choice wisely...we choose to stay away from "free" cards with company branding.
