Bandit Sign Success

fulky profile photo

I first put out signs around Wal-Marts and Mall and received about 30 call in which one turned out into a deal.

I have tried the same technique about 5 other times in different areas but hav not had near the same success.

Do you find that placing signs around neighborhoods are fruitfull or not.

Please share success stories if you have time.

Thanks

As many post that are about bandit signs you would think someone would have some input!

your question is pretty basic, so if you just do a search of this site or look at all the other posts you referenced then i think you will get your answer.

    Zin

If you read through the post on bandits my questions are not directly answered. Yes, there are a lot of good questions, but none that answer my orignial questions. If I have looked over these post, which is humanly possilbe, please point me in the right direction as you seem to be quite the expert.

    Thanks for your help

fulky - by no means do i consider myself an expert or will you read anywere that i have stated that.

im a little confused by your post were you said "its humanly possible" dont know if your think it is possible to read them or not. maybe your just lazy like most americans, im not sure but if you want to be pointed in the right direction go to the search button and type in "bandit sign" this will net you about 50 posts on the topic.

as for my own experience i will state again, yes! bandits are an effective way of advertising if you dont get in trouble doing it. if you do a search and actually read the posts you will see that many people get in trouble with zoning and the city for doing it. they even goes as far as to fining people for it. so i will say it again. yes, it is an effective way to market if done correctly.

    thats all.

    fulky,

I focus more on heavily traveled streets and I will only place signs at traffic light intersections. I feel like I’m wasting signs if the driver doesn’t have an REAL opportunity to STOP and view my sign or at least a higher number of drivers compared to placing signs at none intersections.

    Just My 2 Cents

"do people have success with putting bandit signs in neighborhoods" if you didnt want the obvious replies then why did you post it. besides it seems you already know the answer to your question. if you had success with putting them by walmarts then why wouldnt you anywhere else!

anyways in reply to your "use a third party voice mail script" what i have found is that most people who call and are in foreclosure dont leave a message. they want to talk to a live person or they will call the next we buy houses guy and see if they pick up. kinda like a snooze you loose scenario. but thats just my opinion.

    DougON,

Do you use targeted mailing list or do you focus on a specific neighborhood?

If you use targeted information what criteria do you use for your demographics?

    Thanks,
    Fulky
