Bad Tenant

I recently took a credit application for a house I was renting. When I ran a credit
check his credit came out fine. Later
the credit agency called me back and said something did'nt look right. They
investigated some more and found out
this person uses quite a few social security numbers. He makes a lifestyle
of moving into rental property and dragging out the eviction process. He has'nt stuck me for any money but I 'd like
to put an end to his ripping people off.We live in Ca. Does anybody know if
this is a criminal act that the courts would actually pursue.

Falsifying this type of information is, of course, a criminal act. This is handled by the District Attorney. However, I am not sure the DA would bite if you just show up and tell them that this person has a tendency of doing this type of thing. On the other hand, if this tenant turns around and does the same thing to you, I think you have a case.
