Sandwich Lease Option
Hi all. I am new to the REI world and had a question. Is it legal to do a sandwich lease option in the state of Georgia. A real estate agent friend of mine told me that even though it goes on in Georgia, it is not legal. If is isn't, what is the reason why. If it isn't explain as well. Thanks for any info you can give me.

You know, I cannot see how it is illegal if your agreement gives you the right to sub lease.
Ask a RE attorney. Go to a REI meeting and find out what's going on.
I did them a few years ago in Atlanta and didn't give it a second thought. I think that you are speaking with someone who isn't very REI knowledgable.

but there sure are a lot of real estate guru's living in georgia....
I am not from Ga but I do not think l/o are illegal in any state that I have heard of. You really should go to a rei meeting they would know.
