Question Regarding The Assignment Of Option To Purchase
We have made a deposit on an apartment and wish to sell the option to purchase. Are there any sites devoted to advertising this real estate sale option and are there any forums related to this as well?
Property is in Fairfax City, VA. It is a 2 BDRM, 1 bath condo with 2 parking spaces. This is a prerenovation Condo and is locked in at a prerenovation price of 286K. Prices recently raised by seller to 296K. Looking to sell option. The comps in area support 15 -20% appreciation rate per year.

For that area, that is a great deal. That part of the DC area is going CRAZY!!! That property will be worth at least 100K more in only 1 year witht the way property prices are going right now.
As for selling your option, if it is written into your option and it's allowed, you sure can. Check your option paperwork and go from there.
