L/O Pro's & Con's

Nicolas profile photo

Greetings. First, a little introduction. My name is Nick. I've been interested in Real Estate for just over a year now. Got started on my personal education by going through Carlton Sheet's program. Good stuff I think. Nothing to mind blowing. So, my question.

I feel that I am ready to begin actively looking for deals to purchase, and I am thinking at this point that the Lease Option is probably my best acquisition tactic. Could you possibly illuminate some of the Pro's and Con's from your perspective and experience to using Lease Options? Thank you for your time.

Cheers,
Nick

Would love to see more info on short sales,

    Welcome, Welcome, Welcome to TCI,

I would first suggest checking all articles under lease option at TCI and all comments in the forums section, I would then go to TCI's shop and check out some great courses under lease op.

Education is great, but you may find more bang for your buck here at TCI. I love lease options both on a selling and buying standpoint.

Lease option is a great way to leverage real estate with little money. And it worked right, a nice profit.

After you get done with your research at TCI, let us know if you need more info.

I wrote an article or two here on TCI regarding L/Os vs. my favorite REI method:
    THe Equity Holding Land Trust!

You can view it right here on TCI(in a 3 Part Series)!

    Much Success,

Good Suggestions from all. I need to as well start reading on other methods of investing. I have been trying to put in a lot of time on L/O.. I really want to get going. I am just trying to learn the contract right now.. So then i can roll with it.. But You know as well as I do that it takes experiences to really learn. But you are at a great place to be educated, and there is alot of smart and experienced Investors here... Enjoy....
