Insurance On Old Home / Lease Purchase

Catzilla profile photo

Guys,

Again thanx for all the GREAT info & help you have given me. Now that we have our home, we are having a bit of trouble finding someone to insure it !
Ya see, it is OLD. but we are going to renovate as soon as we move in, we only have 2 weeks to move.

It does not have a heating system, we are trying to get someone to insure us asap without all the red tape.
We just need whatever insurance it takes to move in & then we will start renovations.

The realtor said that maybe we can find someone to cover us for the amount owed on the loan ? 37,900

Any Ideas ?

I think that if you put a sign in the yard they might pull it up just to spite you.
You could put an ad in the newspaper maybe?

Foremost, American Modern (AMIG), and/or Diamond States should be able to help, assuming they offer contracts in your area. Once it is rehabbed and you move in, any "standard" insurer should be able to help...

    Best regards,

    Tim
