Arizona Land Contract
I am currently looking to land contract a house in Arizona. Is it a contract for deed state? I am hearing that you have to have something special there, and since I have never purchased a house there, Please could someone help. I'm hearing that LC's don't carry much weight there and so on. I appreciate any help that I can get. Thanks.

Land Contracts are legal in Arizona, call a title company there and tell them what you want to do, they will send you the paperwork you are looking for.

Thank you for the answer, also, thank you for saying something about this guys posts. He has answered quite a few of mine, and I have yet to understand what he is saying.
We don't really use LC's here. We use what is called an Agreement for Sale. Basically the same thing as a LC or CFD.
In the verbage it should say" buyer shall execute an agreement for sale and deed of trust in favor of seller" .
They are used to wrap an existing loan(similar to assuming without the banks permission)
You need to use a title company that is familiar and willing to do them. The agreement for sale is recorded against the property.
