You are looking for all liens senior to the one you are bidding on (including any property taxes & penalties). You will want to make sure your top bid figure takes in to account all of the costs & penaties associated with the senior liens, because you are responsible for them as the winning bidder.

Make sure the report contains both voluntary (mortgages) & involuntary liens (judgments, IRS, State Liens etc)

    Good Luck
