Roof Leaked Clothes Damaged Who Pays?
My tenents roof leaked into her closet her clothes were damaged. I had previously gone on the roof and thought I had fixed the leak. Am I responsible to replace or clean what was damaged. She has not asked yet but when rent comes due shortly I expect to have a problem. I am only looking at this from a legal standpoint. Morally I may pay for a cleaning. I am curious if legally I must.

That second paragraph regarding the trustee should read,"...may NOT be someone who is going to necessarily be w/ me at all times..."
Does anyone here know anything about land trusts???
