What redemption rights exist with a deed in lieu?

e.g. 400 unit apartment went to the lien holder via a deed in lieu, on 7/8/11 (some thing like that) and the state allows for 6 or 12 mo redemption period.

    Readers should know that not all states allow for any redemption with foreclosure, DIL or RE contract forfeiture so this should be checked before commitment in all states.
