Real Estate Licensure Vs. LLC

Hello, all. This is my first time to this site/forum, and I am astounded at the amount of great information! It will take a while to go through it all. My purpose, today, for searching sites is to find out some legalities: My boyfriend and I formed a LLC last year for real estate investment purposes (rehab, resell, hold, pre-foreclosures, etc). Recently, he obtained his RE license and is signed on with a local broker, with an open understanding that his primary interest is in his own real estate investment activities vs. being a real estate agent. We are now confused as to our rights/restrictions regarding our own private marketing for our real estate investment company as far as requirements to disclose his RE agent status, broker name/info, etc. For example, if we wanted to do direct mailings through our LLC to seek out motivated sellers, does he have any requirements to spell out his affiliation with the broker, etc. We are located in Connecticut.
