Real Estate Consulting
I have recently decided to add this service to my company. I am not a real estate agent nor do I have a license in real estate, but I am doing the leg work for my group of investors in finding homes for them to purchase through building relationships with other investors. I do not negotiate the deals, not do I represent the buyer or the seller. i am merely finding homes for the investors to buy and obtaining a consulting fee or kick back for referring the investor(s) the property. Is this legal? Please respond back through private messages.
This is called birddogging, yes it is legal.
real estate brokering licenses aren't hard to get. You'd be on alot easier water if you just got the license, and then you COULD represent the buyer and possibly the seller for alot more money.
