Quit Claim Deed Forms
HELP!!! I am trying to add a name onto a property . I am under the impression that I do this with a Quit claim . But I have two types: statutory or Joint tenancy. this would be non married people . One person is on the deed and the other needs to be added. Which form do I use, Or is there a different form for this? Thanks in advance.
If you don't know IL law sufficiently to answer your own question here, you clearly need a lawyer's opinion.
Would you try to do your own dentistry?
you may be able to re-record the existing deed with the new person's name on it.
That way you don't have to create a new document, just ammend an existing one.

You can have the full owner quitclaim half or what ever percent interest to the other
