Personally Owned - Business Operated?
I own a building which I lease to multiple companies, right now I am not protected by the Limited Liability veil. I want to lease my building to an LLC, that I own, for just enough to show little or no profit, and use the LLC to expend the remaining revenues. Would the LLC be protecting me personally if a lawsuit is filed? Or is it completely necessary to quit claim the building to the LLC in order to protect myself?
