Personal Prop. Transfer To LLC
My partner in the LLC purchased a Duplex in his name, I was processing a personal refi at the time. We want to transfer the property to our LLC but were told that there was an excise tax due when this transfer was to be recorded. So if this is the case how should we go about this without the 4/5 k in upfront expense? Any Thoughts? WA State Thanks!

So just use the warranty deed form I have (from my attorney) and not the warranty deed to trustee form?
Find an land trust attorney do it for you. you can save yourself lot of hassle and even lawsuit later on
