NJ Is it legal to charge a penalty
On a yearly lease agreement with a tenant (New Jersey), is it legal to charge a late fee or penalty for late rent. For example rent of 1,000 due on the 1st of the month, tenant pay on the tenth. If stipulated in the lease, can I charge a $50.00 late fee? Repoman :-S :-S
