New Orleans Market Condition?

InActive_Account profile photo

I will be moving to New Orleans soon for personal reasons. My question is if anyone could shed some info on the New Orleans area real estate market strength, weaknesses, trends, etc. What I learned so far from searching on the internet and MLS is I found that prices vary drastically from street to the street right next to it. Multi family is cheap for some reason even though rent $ amount is good which good be good cash flow, I also found some fixer uppers that would not last a day where I live now. Also the areas that looked healthy and high in prices, French quarter, warehouse district, Garden district, Carrollton/University. Could you please elaborate on my findings and if you have anymore information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

The policyholder (1st named insured) should be the LLC, as it owns the property. Depending on the attorney, you may want to add you personally as an addtional insured (some attorneys advise against it for certain reasons unbeknownst to me).

does not have capacity to sue or be sued

sounds like the defendent is somehow shielded from being sued.

Did the wrong party get named in the suit?

the contract was actually btw the buyer and an LLC, so d plantiff put the llc and the persons real name on the suit.
