LLC To Sell Rehab?
Hi I am selling a rehab I finished. Should I quit claim it to my LLC before the closing. It is in my name now. Listed it with an agent in my name but does that matter at closing. Would like to quit claim it but do I have to relist it in llc name. Yhanks, Jim
Why bother with all the expense of the LLC ? What benefit will you get from the transfer to LLC? If you do you will want to use some type warranty deed and not quit claim. These are not liked by title companies. If you transfer, I would not worry about Realtor listing until it has expired and you relist or extend as long as you controll LLC. If you bring in a partner or someone else them Realtor would need to know.

LLC is already established. Wouldnt this limit any liabilty to me personally . I thaought the fee for doing a warranty deed was pretty cheap? Thanks ,Jim
