Lis Pendens Summons

I would like to know upon receipt of a Lis Pendens summons and they ask for a response within 20 calendar days of being served. What could a possible response be if you are no longer married to the owner of the property and only signed the Mortgage documents according to Florida law.

Did the divorce decree take you off the property?

This means that you will be paying tax for the entire tax period, even if you only own the property for a fraction of that period.

For example, here summer taxes are due at the end of August, and winter taxes at the end of January. If you were to purchase a property in July, you would not pay one month of taxes- you would have to pay for the entire period (January to August).

Property taxes are always the first and best lein, so the "Notice is given" section changes nothing.

An Option to buy allows you sell under an Option.

I am sorry to hear about your situation. I work in the Marietta Georgia area and would be interested in knowing more about your situation, but a public venue may not be the best place for this. If you can drop me a line at **Please See My Profile**, I will be glad to see if there is anything I can do to help you out. There is a possibility that I can not help, and if that is the case, I may know someone local that can.

I thought the nice things about llcs is the simplicity. Dont corporations require a ton of paperwork and arent they much more complex?
