Lien Not Recorded

I have a second mortgage on my property that has been discharged in bk. I have not signed a reaffirmation with the lender, but am still paying. This loan orignated over 5 years ago, but the deed of trust was never recorded. Can I just stop paying without risk of foreclosure (since the loan has legally been discharged by the court and there is no deed recorded for the loan against the property)?[ Edited by nuttinnew on Date 03/18/2005 ]
