Insurance Declined On A Circa1890 SF House
I have more calls to make but Countrywide will not hold an insurance policy on an 1890s house. I am going to rehab...will be non-owner occupied. Has anyone run into this? I am going with conventional financing so I will need it insured.
Foremost, American Modern (AMIG), and/or Diamond States should be able to help. Do a web search for them and find an Agent that reps them in your area...
