Illegsl Eviction
A friend of mine has moved a tenants things out of his rented house. He has them stored in the garage located at the house. He didnt serve any paper work and do the proper procedure for eviction. The tenant is 2 months behind on rent . What is a positive option for my friend? He recieved a letter from the tenants atty with threats of a $20,000 lawsuit. Weve all been here at 1 time or the other.
Obviously a lawyer will come into play soon for my friend but Im looking for creative constructive opinions. Thanks...
