How To Get Property Into An LLC?
I know this has been discussed, but I've never seen it directly questioned.
I own a rental property in my own name with a mortgage under my own name.
I want to form an LLC and transfer the property into that LLC.
What are the problems with this regarding the mortgage "Due on Sale" clause and how does one even transfer property into an LLC without notifying the Mtg company? Doesn't the transfer get documented by the state similar to a sale?
