Every escrow co. does these all the time.

Sometimes the larger, nationally connected ones are somewhat hide-bound, and don't like unconventional deals like sub-to, etc., so if that's what you've got, you may have to talk to a smaller, private escrow co. to do it for you.

I had a kind of weird deal a few years back, whereby I was mortgaging my undivided 1/2 interest on a SFR, and found that the big ones wanted nothing to do with it, because it just wasn't in their manuals.

I ended up with a lawyer owned/operated escrow co, and they had no difficulty with it.

SO what do you suggest I find a lawyer escrow company. How do you do that ask around.

Talk to several escrow cos in your area and if any advertise True Escrow Svs., you've got what you want.

These are frequently lawyer owned and run and they do what, however they want, without any direction from any big national companies.

Whereas, the LPOs in national cos have to follow explicit instructions, as they are NOT licensed to innovate, and they frequently know squat about how, why, etc.
