HELP
we are about to be dismiss off of chapter my husband been layoff this job.we have this home we been trying to sell they only want to give us 80,000 for the house we had it arp last year at 104,000 the bal old is 86,000 chapter said snice we can not aford it anymore give back to the lender and they would lower our ch-13 payment we just dont know what to do.

At this point what do you want to do? Do you just want out? I would advise you to seek out an investor to sell to rather than give it back to the bank. Call the "We Buy Houses" ads in the classified section of your local newspaper. Just do not sign a deed right away---wait until you understand everything and trust the person you are selling to.
I'm not sure if you have enough time to try to sell it for more than what you owe. You are in a unique situation and you need somone in the business to help you. An average joe off the street will be too picky with the house and you will not be able to sell it quick enough.
You do have one last option which would be to wait and rent it yourself. Your Chapter 13 payments would be higher and you would be stuck managing the place. You would likely need trustee approval to sell the property after the discharge.
I don't know your situation but I can imagine you are going through some stressful times and I'm guessing the last thing you want is the stress of owning property. Most people I work with just want to move on and start over.
