Fire Damaged Property In Probate - How To Locate Future Owners?
I ran into a fire damaged property, basically burned to the ground. The owner, 74 years old lady died in the fire. The property is in probate now.
Her ex-husband and her sister - both never visited the deceased - fighting for the ownership. All the information I have came from the neighbour.
It seems like none of the possible future owners would be angry if I approached them at this point. My question is: How do I locate them?

go to the courthouse and pull their divorce decree - it will at a minimum give you his attorney; 3 phone calls from there and you have him.
As fro the sister - talk to the funeral parlor that handled the services, here sister was almost certainly there.
When in doubt, side with the person who paid the bills after she died.
