Finding A Good RE Attorney
Where do I begin to find an attorney to help me set up an LLC and transfer my property into it? How much should I expect to pay for this service? There are thousands or attorneys listed in the yellow pages - I don't know where to begin to find a good one.
Does anybody have a recomedation in the DFW area?

Aside from actually having an attorney come recommended, you can always trying calling the local bar association and they should be able to direct you to someone. Typically, my fees are on average about $1,000 or so to fully consult, setup, assemble a company records book, and handle the transference of property into the LLC initially. The fees can vary depending on how much time and special attention your attorney puts into it. Some companies offer an online LLC setup service for about $300-$500, but be careful! This sort of thing can be dangerous and cost you more in the long run with legal troubles, especially if there are other members in the LLC other than just yourself. Typically, you get what you pay for.
