County Recorder Charges
Can a county recorder charge to view the access of recorded documents? Until recently all data was available through a website and now they want to charge $100/mo or $1/page. It is still free if I drive all the way over there and get it in person.
Can I do anything? (I'm refering to Story County, Iowa)
I too own rental property in Ames (go Cyclones), and am also not so happy with this. Sorry, no useful information for you : )
