Affiliated Company ???
Please correct me if this question is the wrong Forum ...
I'm interested in a property going up for sheriff deed sale. The 1st mortgage is with a big bank- who brought on the suit. The 2nd is with the big banks WEST COAST affiliate. The affiliate and the county treasurer are listed as defendants in the case against the property owner. Does this mean, if I'm high bidder I have to subsequently pay off the 2nd holders lien if still existing? Since they are affiliated companies does that change anything?
