A stupid question about trusts
This is a stupid question, but do I need to record my Declaration of Trust at the Register of Deeds. If not, the document still needs to be notarized, right? On these documents, nowhere will there be beneficiaries names or anything else. Only the trustee and trustor(myself) would have this information.

Do the first couple through a lawyer. A trust is no do-it-yourself. If there is one mistake than the transfer of title isn't legal.

Joel is absolutely correct when he says you should consult with an attorney when setting up any kind of a trust.
But to give you a quick answer, the only recording I have done in the past for a trust is recording a Memorandum of Trust which puts on notice that a trust has been created. Then any deed that is placed into the trust is also recorded from the grantor to the trust as grantee.
