Where Can I Find Notices Of Default?

BizMan12 profile photo

I am trying to find NODs in VA. The courthouse in Loudon County has computerized public records. You have to know the name of the person, the block number, or an address. Is there any way to get around this? If anyone knows of any websites that have lists of preforeclosures (not foreclosures) that would help, too.

Here is a link to your county which may help to explain what to do.

    Hi peoria,

It was tough to figure out the counties in IL, so I started with your name. (LOL)

Here is a link to Peoria County and there are other links from there:

Also here is a link to your county recorder. It looks like you may have to call or go to the recorder's office and sign up for online services. But at least it is a start:

    Best of luck

I'm afraid that website did not help much. I still don't know how to find records on computerized records.

I think you must search out your local newspapers classified section.
