Where Can I Find Lists Of Preforclosure?

ladytarpon52 profile photo

I am new to preforclosures. I usually just look in the newpapers and find homes that people are already wanting to sell. But I need to build my inventory and this might be the best way. Can anyone help me? I have been searching the net but have had no luck. mad

Visit your local real estate investment club, you would find a wealth of information.

There is an abundance of preforclosures on the net... another possibility is to call your local title company and see if they can get you Notice of Default Listings....now from my experience not all title companies offer this...but if you keep calling different ones you will find one. Some may even send the lists into your email account. They typically send them out once a week. Another option is to befriend RE agent or a Lender who can get access to these... its a little more difficult, but not impossible.

If your state is a trust deed state, you can simply contact the trustee and ask for a list of all of their properties. You can find thier names in most local newspapwers under the heading"Legal Notices". [ Edited by Darryle-CA on Date 08/04/2005 ]

I would send a letter to each one of them. As for equity, most of the U.S. has appreciated in value over the last three years.
