What Are Overages? Surplus?
Hi:
I *vaguely* understand that the courts have 'registered overages' or 'surpluses' on mortgages and/or judgements (I think) that are payable to unknown creditors?
Does anyone know anything about this? If so, how can I find them in records, learn who the creditors/debtors are for a given 'overage', etc.
I hope this isn't off topic. I thought it pertained at least in part to foreclosures.
