Vacant House - Need Help
I have been driving by this house everyday that I know has to be vacant (driveway never shoveled/grass not cut ) and definitely in need of rehab but a great area. I have sent letters to the house and the postal service just returns them. I checked the tax records on line and the mailing address is that house (i thought maybe an abesentee owner). Does anyone have any suggestions?

BTW, i have no indication that this house is in foreclosure. I just figured this would be an appropriate forum since I know sometimes vacant houses are in 4closure
The online tax records may be inaccurate. Visit the county courthouse (or wherever property records are maintained) and see what they have. They may have an alternate address for the owner, a mortgage company address, etc. They will know if the owner has been paying taxes or not.
I call any one of my local title companies and they give out that information for free!

I will simply look for a termite DAMAGE repair expert to do the inspection and give me an estimate before going further. I believe your friend will allow it to sell the home....
