Trustee sale. Please Help.

Hello all. Im in need of your expertise again. I am Looking to start sending letters to people whos property is going to be sold at a trustee sale. My question is.....can you shortsale a trustee sale?????????????? I am curious because it would seem that the lenders are already spending money on legal fees.
