Title Search Question ... Please Help!

I was recently told that before approaching the owners of pre-foreclosure properties to call up a title company and make sure that the property is still in default. I tried calling some title companies and they just keep transferring me from one person to another. Can anyone please let me know if there is a particular title company that is willing to work with people with our concerns? Or is there a better approach to all of this?

    what kind of a position are you in to do this deal? Do you have 25 - 30% to put down cash? What is your exit plan?

    If you rent the storage units out for FMR do you think that you can rent all the units out? It seems like there are too many vacant units.

    Plus will you be able to add all of the features needed to get FMR?

    I would opt to do an option with this particular deal. See if they will let you bring the property up to condition, then see if you can rent out all of the units.

    Its better to spend a little than to be stuck with a liability.
