Looking to buy a foreclosure at the cout house steps.. Would you recommend title insurance and where do you get it..

Suggest you read tons before you buy on the Steps. Look in the Yellow Pages under Title Insurance.

If you are a 'freshman' speculator, then you might want to consider an REO.

Hi Strat,

It is very critical that you are familiar with the pits falls in buying a the steps. While you study more about the pros and cons of buying at the steps, it would be a good idea for you to go to several sales as a spectator, and get a feel for how things work on the surface there.
