Tax Sales/ Forclosures
I AM BRAND NEW AT REAL ESTATE AND AM TRYING TO GET INTO BUYING REAL ESTATE THAT IS BEING SOLD IN TAX SALES FOR BACK TAXES.
I AM HAVING TROUBLE FINDING LIST OF THESE PROPERTIES, AND WHEN THE TAX SALES WILL BE HELD, ECT.

Tax properties for what area?
Go to your local County Courthouse.
Findthe "Assessors Office" or the "Property Tax Office"
Ask the nice person behind the desk "When is the next tax sale? Where do you advertise the list of properties?"

Hi,
I've been able to get alot of the research for tax sales done over the internet too, so you can eliminate alot of the junk from the tax list before you go to the courthouse. I know alot of counties arent online, but there's great info on the county tax collector site, courthouse site, and county appraiser site - in my county anyway. I'm going to my first tax sale this week after checking into them for ages. Cant wait to check it out in person now.
Good luck! Let me know if you need any help finding the websites for your county. I'm pretty good at it now, since i've been doing this part of it for awhile.
