I am interested to see what answer you get to your question. I have been thinking of doing the same thing.

My thinking is it might be a good way to supplement my income while gradually increasing the number of rented properties I own.

The Landlord's Handbook by Daniel Goodwin is a very thorough guide to property management. I highly recommend it.

Thanks for the info. I have the Landlords Guide. I just didn't want to be missing something that technically wasn't labeled "property management" . Has anyone out there had major problems being in this side of the business?

some areas require the management company to be licensed. The biggest thing I have found is there alot of comanies out there that are paid to do there job and do not do it. If at all possible find some other property management companies contracts and see what they charge for there work.
