Return Address

Brill profile photo

I am getting ready to send out my first mailing to preforclsures before the sale next month.

I was wondering what you guys and girls used as a return address when you mail. I don't want to use a PO yet

Should I just use no return address?

Many thanks

Brian

Why not use a PO Box? It is important to know which letters come back to you because those may be some of your best leads as they are likely abandon properties.

    Hey,

I with Frogger on this one, what's the big deal about renting a P.O.Box and putting that address as the return????? If you don't put a return, you have no idea if the letters were delivered or not.

Maybe you don't want the address to be a P.O.Box because you think it does not look as good as a street address. If so, you can put the address of the Post Office and in the extended zip code, put the Box number. This works for me, so I presume it is the same at all Post Offices.

    Brill:
Here's what I did: I rented a box at the UPS Store nearest my house, mainly for 2 reasons:
    1. The address is a street address, with a # in it (like a suite), so it looks less fly-by-night-like: 2303 Any Street, #108, MyTown, IL 123456

    2. I got 24/7 access to the box: as part of my box fee, the store gave me an electronic key that opens the lobby door so I can get mail anytime I need to--not on the the Post Office's schedule (although I know some PO's have 24/7 access to the lobby, too...)

    Hey,

I think the UPS store will also accept overnights, but I am not 100% sure.

Bruce is correct: the UPS Store will accept packages addressed as well.
