Worthless as tits on a bull. See my other posts.
RealtyTrac really sucks. Stuff on their site they say has NOD filed has actually been auctioned, bought by bank at auction, sold to an investor(and he has already rehabbed it) and this investor now has property on MLS for sale. RealtyTrac is like a rash that won`t go away. DON`T DO IT! Now you notice I could not come up with any site that is good for foreclosure info, so I``m not pushing some other site, just don`t like MoronTrac. TRy it during the 30 day free period and prove me wrong.

scotlad is being way too nice. whomever is responsible for Realtytrac outght be tarred and feathered. It is worse than than worthless...unless you like really outdated, useless information.

I agree RealtyTrace is worthless. I have yet to find a descent pay site for Forclosures. Your best bet to either hire someone to go to the courthouse or wait until the NOD are in the newspaper. Time being key because who gets to the homeowner first has the best chance.

Also, I want to add my experience, I tried realty Trac and they sucks big time, I got my 7 day free trial period and guess what ? they even charged me the 29.95 and the customer service sucks, they are helpless, it took two weeks to recover my money and still, I am receiving from them automatic emails even when I cancelled the account. I had a very bad experience about that company, the service sucks !, I believe that they have a good reason to ask for your credit card I think that most of trial free users they charge accidentely on the card and then return the money two weeks later , that is not fair, I discussed a lot with them via phone, email, and their automatic chat ( real time ) that they offer and they are helpless, you need to wait for so long to receive your money back, they were telling me that I did not cancel on time my free trial period and that was a lie, I had proofs of everything.

My final bottom line ? I do not recommend that company and it is true I tried some properties to do some calls, the phones are wrong, they do not answer or the property is too old so it is already sold

I hope that this helps for someone who wants to try their service

in the past i have stated many times that all these on-line services are late info blood suckers as have many others but the lure of a "easy find listing" keeps investors subscribing to this worthless service....km

Ron, I think the $2/M means $2 per month per zip code.

REALTYTRAC is the BEST. I have picked up 4 properties with them. The main key is when you search them by RECORDED DATE, yeah some may be 1-2 weeks old but really how many people have gone and talked to these people whith in that period of time . We get FIRST shots at it.

    GOOD LUCK,

If you are into the pre-foreclosure market by far the best resource in so. cal is www.retran.net

It runs ~$120/mo but the info is very current and second to no other forclosure lead site I have seen.

Thank so much for this info abou realtytrac I just joined for the free 7 day trial and hopped on the forums to give me some information on where to start purchasing these so called pre-foreclosures. I did also notice they had dates listed for the auction that had already passed. I am cancelling right now. Thanks

    Yen,

They are hoping for a miracle that will save their home. They end up wasting a lot of time hoping for that miracle.

    Bruce..

Thank you very much for your reply, Bruce. Before, I keep thinking that because there maybe something wrong with the house or the house is worthless, so that why the seller is letting their house go foreclosure. If it is me, I will sell my house in the first place before I let the foreclosure process happen.......
