I tried it for a month. It didn't have the info that I was currently seeing with my subscription service. Didn't like the presentation at all, either. One property could have 10 entries, and to them it was 10 separate hits.

So Brian, I guess your saying that you don't recommend it. That's funny because I went on there today and almost registered, but, decided that I will do it tomorrow...I was sort of unsure. Now that I read your posting, I'm wondering. Is the information too old? Not enough detail? What exactly about it don't you like?
The type of information as well as the amount of information was lacking. The number of properties that I knew were in foreclosure were more than were listed in the most active county I watch.
But the most irritating thing to me was that it seemed that every time someone touched the case, file, whatever you want to call it, realtytrac treated it like it was a new foreclosure or preforeclosure, the later being what I was interested in.
It seemed as timely as the service I use, for the properties it had. The service I use isn't always up to date either, but I've only found one time that I knew it was wrong on timeliness. As a newbie here, I can't post URLs, but I figure you can fill in the rest if I say freeforeclosuresearch (it's not free, not for the details). You can get tantalizing hints for free though. I'm in a rural area and watch 8 counties with that tool. I'd put a 1000 miles a week on my car if I checked all of those courthouses myself. I haven't yet looked for a local service that can provide the best data for those counties.
