I cannot get to the courthouse during the week to check out the NOD listings. Does anyone know of a preforeclosure listings service being posted on line in the Frederick / Montgomery County areas of Maryland ? confused

Good question....same goes for Modesto, California-area. I can look them up on the internet for $6 per notice. What is offered in other areas?

Try searching on the internet for a serv-
ice. It would be worth your while to pay
a fee of $30.00 like mentioned above
rather than spending your days at the
    courthouse.

Thanks for the suggestions. I've already tried them. I'm convienced that the persons who make the effort to get to the courthouse and has the patience to deal with the courthouse clerks, will acquire the preforeclosure leads that turn into winners. Either I or someone I know for love or money will get to the courthouse.

The NODs here are $9 (Santa Clara, CA) each... Can someone please tell me how you know if the NOD is on a house, condo, buisness, etc. without purchasing the information?

I wouldn't mind buying all the NODs for say homes or condos at a time, but I can't afford to buy them all, all the time.

Is an online service the best way to go? Would seem to me that you can get "fresher" information directly from the courthouse... Yet, I am going to have to blow alot of money just to get maybe one NOD on a home.

In Jacksonville Florida the County Court has a website that you can pull them up on for free. Yep, free.

What about DataQuick or First American (Fares)? These both look promising. FARES costs $110 for unlimited searching a month, for one county. I don't know what DataQuick runs, but I've heard that a base price, plus $.05 per name and address. Folks have said that they have CD data, or address labels...

    esuccess,
The url is http://www.coj.net. look under department links for Property Appraiser, tax collector and clerk of the court. All three have online records, great doing research from home.

There are plenty of free websites out there that give you enough if not all the information that you need to find preforeclosures or foreclosures! I have spent almost 4 years tracking and finding this homes. Something that I have noticed is that just like a home for sale by a realtor, there is some room to get even a better deal, that can save you thousands and put more money in your pockets. I am a realtor, but have a full time staff member that searches for homes in 67 counties across the country. Would love to help any of you out on here, send me a private message. I thank everyone on here for teaching me more everyday, and keeping me posted on what is happening in their part of the USA! I am still looking for more investors! Aaron
