How are people getting preforeclosure leds before they become public?
I am mailing postcards to people on the default list in the legal organ where I live. By the time I get there most of these people have already had a visitor. They have the ususal stack of postcards, most of which are postmarked two weeks before mine? I am taking them directly out of the newspaper and not some list that comes out a couple of weeks later.
How would a title company know about a foreclosure?
Just call the appropriate county department and ask. Call your county recorder or clerk of court, or whatever it is called in your county. Ask them what is the process for a foreclosure in your county and how can you find out about the preforeclosure action in the quickest possible way.
There might also be for fee service on the Internet that send people to go to the court house everyday to record the information.
