PRE-FORECLOSURE

JAVMAN profile photo

Hey everyone,

I am a draftsman looking to invest in a home, but I am having trouble closing on one. I have good credit, money for down payment, and love to rehab homes.
My problem is every time I find a house; a contractor jumps in the mix and pays cash for the house. I have been looking for foreclosure homes for five months and three were tacking from me. I have a real estate agent working with me but I only hear from her every two weeks, I am not sure if that’s normal, since I am new to the game.
How can I find homes before the contractors? And would it be a good idea to have more than one real estate agent?
Please I need help.

the most simple and best answer is to get we buy houses signs and put them out.

WOW, Joliet, IL! I moved from there over 5 years ago. I now live in FL.

Yes signs can work. Also try getting the info from the county clerks office, They have a list of all Lis Pendens and eother call them, drop by the address, or mail them something to get in touch woth them.
