Permission To Speak To Lender For Seller

I need a form that allows me to speak to the seller's Lender about the loan. Does anyone know where I can get one? Or should I just have her write and sign something giving me permission to do so?

I would just write a note if the lender requires a special form they should be able to provide it to you

Thanks Karen! The seller is faxing me letters for all the lenders allowing me permission to discuss her loan. I guess that's good enough, right?

You just need a general Borrower's Authorization Form. That will allow you to check on anything

If borrower gives permission to a specific person or company, only that person or company can get info.

When you call and say you need payoff information faxed to XXX-XXX-XXXX, you get it 9 out of 10 times with no hassle.

I request a short sale package be faxed back to me on the fax cover letter when I fax the authorization.
