I am searching for a person who just recently got seperated from her husband and moved to an apartment. I need either her phone number (unlisted) or new address. The info I have is her old old address, ex husbands name, her maiden name. Neighbor do not know where she moved.

Does anybody know free/cheap and proven way to find her fast.

I used USAsearch and Intellius, but disappointed with the results. They either give you 6 months old information or the information is incorrect. I think the best way will be to check your yellow page and call private detective. If you only need basic information, you should cost you less than $250.

Try Knowx. Also, try sending a letter with address correction requested marked on the outside under the return info. The post office will send a new address if she has a forwarding on file. Also, check the divorce papers at the court

    I have a question...

Why are you looking for her? What if she doesn't want to be found? :-D

Just asking a question... that's all.

I thought it is a RE investing board; looking for a recently separated woman doesn't seem to have anything to do with RE grin

On that topic, some guy once told me he dates recently separated/divorced women. They want to feel that there is nothing wrong with them and are more accommodating grin

    few details:
You said she was recently seperated, not divorced, so he is not her ex-husband, he is her husband.
Does she own it or do they own it? See who is the defaulting person/persons...you might be chasing the wrong person. Maybe they own it and he owns the loan! Or viceversa.
Tax records and insurance records may have been updated w/correct contact. Did you check tax records?

www.Findtheseller.com is Cameron Dunlap's site. He is an instructor with Ron LeGrand. He has one of the best around or so I have been told.

    Happy Hunting,

I checked all the public records available in county’s recorder, tax assessor’s office and court. I found out that they got divorced last August. I found husband's new address from divorce case papers. I went over there but nobody was at home so I left him a note asking to call me. He never called me back. I am not able to find wife’s new address, because tax bill goes to their abandoned house. I have sent letters to husband’s new address and their old address with address correction request.

    Depending on the area:
children in school? Tread lightly and carefully
neighborhood friends? You might make a simple letter up for her that states that you are interested in buying her home. No personal info. Take the letter to each of the 10 surrounding neighbors by hand for them to give her if they see her. Maybe somebody will. Be friendly so they will want you for a neighbor.
Since you know her maiden name, does she have family in the area? That is how somebody found me. She left messages on all of my siblings + various family machines til she talked to somebody! :-o

The other day I was joking about people search, today I need help. I had a good handyman, very loyal. He owes me a few hundred dollars. The other day he told me he is being separated from his wife. Now I cannot contact him. His Nextel phone is out of service; he left a message saying he discontinued his service because he lost his phone.

I have his home number but his wife doesn't pick up the phone. I left about half a dozen messages. I talked to her once. She told me she would give him the message the next time he comes to see his kids. I found her address through http://www.publicrecordfinder.com/peoplefind.html
    and wrote him a letter.

What else can I do to find the guy?

I use www.accurint.com. I always find people there and it only costs me a quarter.

It looks better than anything I have seen so far.
    Thanks.
