Several title companies in Denver do O&E's for free but after that, pay the $100 to $250 to be sure of your position before you lay down the money.

O&E's are good for a quick view of the deal to see if you want to pursue it.

    Thank you CSFG!

    What does O & E stand for?

    Ownership and Encumbrance Report.

Basically a quick and dirty check of the current leins on the property. The title company doesn't stand by the search but is is the first thing that the title companies database spits out when it does the search without verifying the data.

Good source of info for initial review only.
I used to get my info from the title company within 2-4 hours of the request. The title companies in Denver have specific O&E departments to service and promote potential clients.

Try www.sourceoftitle.com I got all my best abstractors from that site when I used to recruit them for my last job.
