Mechanics Lien
I need some advise, My pool contractor never finished the work on my home. I withheld the last payment and finished the work myself. The company has now hired an attorney and threatening to file a lien. I have pictures of all the work they did not do along with receipts for the money I had to spend to complete the project. Can I respond to the letter from the attorney with all my evidence or should I hire an attorney myself? Can I be foreclosed on? [ Edited by San on Date 04/05/2005 ]
